m.a.b.el is all about repurposing damaged vintage quilts and textiles into contemporary garments and multi-use accessories. Initially, my goal was the end result—a fabulous coat, or a handy tote. Along the way, I’ve slowed the process to appreciate all the handwork and decisions that created these original and beautiful quilts.
