A collar-less quilt coat! This traditional orange peel patterned quilt coat has this amazing OVERSIZED scale! It's so striking.
This jacket is modeled on the traditional barn jacket, and snaps closed with 4 antique brass snaps down the front, two patch pockets, and a hangtag. The front and neckline binding re-uses the vintage plaid lining from the original quilt.
The original quilt is thick, and accordingly has very little drape.
m.a.b.e.l’s coats are boxy with a drop shoulder, and hit at mid-hip (depending on your height).
What I love about this one: the oversized scale of the pattern. And the green!
