Quilt Coat (Manx Log Cabin)

A collar-less quilt coat! Oh, this (possible) Manx style log cabin quilt holds its age well.  The narrow logs in both dark and light colors create a vibrant graphic statement.

This jacket is modeled on the traditional barn jacket, and snaps closed with 4 antique brass snaps down the front, two patch pockets, and a hangtag. The neckline is finished with a binding from the original quilt. 

The original quilt is thick, and accordingly has very little drape. 

m.a.b.e.l’s coats are boxy with a drop shoulder, and hit at mid-hip (depending on your height).

What I love about this one: The narrow logs and striking colors are breathtaking.
