Wonderfully soft & cozy popover, with a generous pocket for holding stuff while I potter round the house. I’m very taken with the different colorful feedsack fabrics, including the cutest print with tiny bunny rabbits - a very sweet detail. I like the zig zag hem which follows the edge of the original quilt.
This coat was a splurge for me so I hemmed and hawed for a long time before buying it, and am SO delighted I did. It’s cozy and comforting, easy to wear with everything, and I’ve had lots of compliments on it. Best of all are the darling patterns on the vintage scraps - a cheerful riot of color - and I love wearing something that someone long ago took the effort to piece together by hand. And it’s environmentally sound as a well-made up-cycled item. My favorite garment!
Beautiful! Perfect size for small projects. The canvas lining makes it very sturdy and gives it a very finished look. The woven handles are just the right length. There is love in every stitch of this construction. I also have the small and large size in this Maker Caddy and I love them. Would love to see a notions pocket added in the inside.
