About the quilts
All over the United States! I work with lots of different people (some IRL, some virtually) to help me source the types of quilts I prefer.
Your piece has lived a LONG life, and a little wear & tear is expected. If you see a loose thread, don't tug--use scissors and snip it off
YES! If your caddy or tote gets dirty (and it most likely will, if you're putting it to use) and spot cleaning hasn't worked, go ahead and use your washing machine. Turn your piece inside out and place in a pillowcase or lingerie bag. Wash on gentle.
If your quilt coat or popover needs washing, turn it inside out and wash on your machine's gentle cycle. While I do wash and dry every quilt before I cut into it, if there are bright colors, you may want to use a dye-catcher to catch an errant colors that aren't stable.
