Quilt Coat (Pastel Rails)

A collar-less quilt coat! This pattern is a variation on the log cabin, and features sweet feedsack fabrics and the random black rails!

This jacket is modeled on the traditional barn jacket, and snaps closed with 4 antique brass snaps down the front, two patch pockets, and a hangtag. The neckline is finished with a binding from the original quilt. 

The original quilt is quite thick, and accordingly has very little drape. 

m.a.b.e.l’s coats are boxy with a drop shoulder, and hit at mid-hip (depending on your height).

What I love about this one: the random black rails throughout!
