The Bunny Basket features a vintage-inspired feedsack appliqué bunny, finished with a cheerful pom-pom tail. One panel showcases the bunny, while the remaining three sides are made from coordinating quilting cottons that give each basket its own playful character.
The basket is fully lined in sturdy canvas for structure and durability, with a webbing handle for easy carrying. Sized for everyday use, it’s perfect for holding knitting projects, sewing supplies, toys, or seasonal treats.

Purpose in Repurposing
Everything I make at m.a.b.e.l takes time. I find and like to work with pre-1950s quilts because of their natural fibers and their designs that are so old they’re modern again. I work slowly to appreciate all the handwork and decisions that once created them. Every quilt is beautifully unique, and I love making it shine.
