Kitchen Sink Tote (Pink Flying Geese)
Y’all been clamoring for a ginormous tote—well, here it is! Big enough for all your totin’ needs!
The Kitchen Sink Tote is lined in a lighter-weight canvas, and the quilt outer is a summer weight (little to no batting) quilt, so even though the tote is HUGE, it’s not heavy at all!
Inside this particular tote there is one seam-to-seam internal pocket, pink cotton webbing handles (with a 15” drop (fits over a coat). The tote is approximately 19” tall, 23” wide, and 6” deep, laid flat

Purpose in Repurposing
Everything I make at m.a.b.e.l takes time. I find and like to work with pre-1950s quilts because of their natural fibers and their designs that are so old they’re modern again. I work slowly to appreciate all the handwork and decisions that once created them. Every quilt is beautifully unique, and I love making it shine.
