Quilt Cardi (Yellow Texas Lone Star)
A shorter length with a wider, kimono-style sleeve, the Quilt Cardi is perfect for both inside and outside wear! Collarless and with patch pockets, the Quilt Cardi snaps up the front, but has a slight V-neck (perfect for layering with your best scarf).
This particular Quilt Cardi is a car-coat length; ending at your lower hip, so as to show off the lovely points of this Texas Lone Star quilt.

Purpose in Repurposing
Everything I make at m.a.b.e.l takes time. I find and like to work with pre-1950s quilts because of their natural fibers and their designs that are so old they’re modern again. I work slowly to appreciate all the handwork and decisions that once created them. Every quilt is beautifully unique, and I love making it shine.
