A slightly longer quilt cardi! This coat is more of a chore coat length, but still features a kimono-style sleeve, the Quilt Cardi is perfect for both snuggling inside or venturing out in the cold! Collarless and with two patch pockets, the Quilt Cardi snaps up the front to keep out the chill.
What I love about this one: pink on pink! YAY!

Purpose in Repurposing
Everything I make at m.a.b.e.l takes time. I find and like to work with pre-1950s quilts because of their natural fibers and their designs that are so old they’re modern again. I work slowly to appreciate all the handwork and decisions that once created them. Every quilt is beautifully unique, and I love making it shine.
