The Studio Tote is just about the perfect tote—structured, versatile, and designed to move easily through your day.
Lined in sturdy canvas and finished with seam to seam interior pockets along one side, it’s made to stand on its own and keep essentials organized and within reach. It holds plenty of yarn, but works just as well for books, tools, toys, or daily carry.
New to this version, a discreet magnetic snap closure adds light security, while the detachable strap hardware has been moved to the inside of the bag—keeping the exterior clean and uncluttered.

Purpose in Repurposing
Everything I make at m.a.b.e.l takes time. I find and like to work with pre-1950s quilts because of their natural fibers and their designs that are so old they’re modern again. I work slowly to appreciate all the handwork and decisions that once created them. Every quilt is beautifully unique, and I love making it shine.
