Collection: 4, 6 & 8 Point Stars

Early quilters often used nature and their surroundings as inspiration for their patterns--thus is the case with many star patterns, as stars were early settlers' navigation aids. Most common among the star patterns are the 4 point star (also called Hummingbird), 6 Point Star, and 8 Point Star (also known as Ohio Star).  The largest of the star patterns is the Star of Bethlehem or Lone Star, which is typically is one star centered in the middle of a quilt.
